This day was made for me - because as much as I cook I still am a total klutz in the kitchen. You might remember the Cheesecake Shrapnel incident when I was making Christmas cookies last year. We still laugh about how awful those turned out (even though everyone secretly kept sneaking bites).
What are some of your infamous cooking disasters?

I'm notorious for having flat, crunchy cookies and I cannot for the life of me figure out what I do wrong. Needless to say, I try to leave the cookie baking to the others.
I spent a lot of money studying in Paris to become a professional chef, and I'm still a total kitchen klutz. Last week I made a layered carrot cake for my dad's birthday. I dropped one layer on my very dirty kitchen floor as a pulled it out of the oven and another on my dirty living room floor while I was placing it on the cooling rack. I spent two hours picking cat hair off the cake.
Glad to know I'm not the only one!
