French Bread Pizza - Many Different Ways!

One of my friends came over the other day and we made French Bread Pizzas, a recipe she had submitted to They were so tasty and so easy! And the perfect thing to make when a friend comes over - they're not too involved, they don't mess up the whole kitchen, and most importantly, they're ready in just a few minutes!

There was a little bit of baguette leftover so the next day I ended up making them again. I still had some cheese and sauce leftover as well, and had some hamburger meat to use up. So I browned the ground beef, and then finished making the pizzas the same way I did the day before. So easy! And it opened up a world of possibilities - I mean, I always tend to have cheese and tomato sauce on hand, so the next time I have meat or veggies to get rid of, all I need to do is buy a baguette and make a French bread pizza out of it!

What would you put on top of your French bread pizza?

What a great, simple recipe! I would put sun-dried tomatoes or roasted peppers on my pizza. These are things that I almost always have in my pantry and they're perfect to dress up any dish. Mmmm, now I know what I'm making for dinner tonight.

Pizza is a college staple – we ate it after a long night out or when we woke up at noon and had it for breakfast. This super easy and fast recipe puts delivery pizza to shame! It’s also cheaper and can be made just how I want, in less time – everything I love! I like to add mushrooms, green peppers, onion, broccoli (ANY kind of veggies I have around), maybe even some pineapple. Yummmmm!
