Eating produce in season is best for the environment and your local economy, but seasonal produce also boasts superior flavor! So what's in season for summer? Take this list of yummy fruits and veggies to your local farmers' market. Orange/Yellow: Apricots, cantaloupe, star fruit, Calimyrna figs, lemons, mangoes, nectarines, papayas, peaches, pineapple, tamarind, corn, yellow onions, yellow bell peppers, chanterelle mushrooms, Yukon and Yellow Finn potatoes, summer squash, yellow tomatoes, golden zucchini, rutabaga
